FPV Racing Competition

Individual Competition | November 13-15, 2015 | Georgia World Congress Center

Through gates, tunnels, chicanes and turns, FPV racers from around the globe will race to the top of the podium in the Georgia World Congress Center. Limited entries available, and this race will sell out.

The race will feature three select classes of multirotor quadcoptors vying for supremacy at F3Expo:

  • 4″ Propellors (Micros)
  • 5″ Propellors (Race Machines)
  • 6″ Propellors (Easy Riders)

Registered pilots (for both F3Expo and the race) may race in 1, 2 or all 3 classes.

  • Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM: Monitored, open, timed practice (All registered racing pilots are welcome to practice on the indoor circuit; A select number of frequencies will be available, and will be assigned on a “next in the hot-seat” basis.)
  • Saturday, 8:30 AM-8:00 PM: Qualifying (All registered racing pilots will have a minimum of two qualifiers; the best individual qualifier for each individual pilot decides their main heat assignment and grid position for the finals.)
  • Sunday, 9:30 AM-1:00 PM: Finals (The top-60 pilots from qualifying will compete in their seeded mains. Lower seeded pilots have an opportunity to transfer or “bump” up into the final in each class.)
