New Media Marketing and Logistics Team Lead

“Viking” Trevor Christensen

Pre-Event and Post-Event video editor, 3D Rendering, Course Consultation and Build

An ambassador for FPV Racing and Flight, Christensen has been one of the first to organize meet-ups, attend meet-ups and explore a vision for the growth of our Sport.

His recent addition to the FPV Racing Events Team has made him an asset in the planning and execution process.

He recently was crowned Reserve National Champion in the Beginners Division at the 2015 Canadian Drone Nationals, and was in the Top-10 in Freestyle at the same event, plus was the 2nd Runner up in the 5″ Props 3S Class at the FPV Fall Classic Drone Race.

Field Information Technology Management

Wayne “Crash” LeDrew

IT Support inclusive of networking, hardware and software infrastructure and integration.

When “things went down” at a recent event, the team lead scrambled to find a racer with some IT experience to assess and resolve. While there were an abundance of pilots to choose from, LeDrew had the right style of “get ‘er done” that was needed in that high pressure situation.

Being an FPV Racer is an additional asset; and even while offering support at an event he still maintained a Top-10 finish in the hotly contested Open Class at the FPV Fall Classic Drone Race.

His recent addition to the FPV Racing Events Team brings confidence in the upwards direction of embracing technology and racing for the best possible experience.

Partnerships and Promotion

David “Fat Shark” French

Corporate Partnerships and Event Sponsorships.

It takes a visionary with a “wee bit” of an unorthodox nature to develop new territory, and FPV Racing Events as a company started when French discovered Scully on YouTube.  Their first venture spawned a series of events, which gave birth to the production company approach that FPV Racing Events deliver.

Other accomplishments include hosting the Canadian Drone Nationals and conceptualizing the “ThunderDrone 500”, again all paramount to the growth of the company and Industry.

With a rolodex deep with FPV Companies, he assists in leading the charge of creating exciting partnerships, engaging activations and industry leading event executions.
